Hope Prince

Hope grew up the daughter of a factory worker and a truck driver on a small farm in rural North
Carolina. This formed the roots of her work ethic and where her concern for family and community began. Six years ago, Hope moved to Hanover County, where the rural charm and welcoming people were reminiscent of where she grew up.
As Vice President of her neighborhood association (Totopotomoy), she worked with members of the Board of Supervisors to address issues affecting her community. This resulted in the passage of a county ordinance preventing the extended parking of commercial vehicles on residential streets. She also advocated for inter-neighborhood pedestrian and bicycle access.
Highlights include:
  • Vice President of the Totopotomoy Community Association 2019-2021
  • Board member Kings Charter Swim Team 2017-Present (Volunteer of the Year in 2021)
  • Atlee Band Boosters
  • Hanover County School Board renaming committee for Gandy/Clay Elementary School Spring2023
Hope seeks to be results-driven advocate, prioritizing the concerns of her constituents above all else. She embraces ambitious ideas and decisive measures that align with the core values of our community, irrespective of political party affiliations.
With unwavering dedication, Hope is determined to tirelessly serve the residents of her district—a district that recognizes the importance of education, advocates for sustainable economic growth that benefits all, and values the protection of our defenders.
